Does anyone bother with Steering locks? I've just bought one for mine as abit more of a deterent as it has to sit on an undesirable street in Nottingham whilst I'm at work?

Every little helps in my view, it may see off the low life to an easier car to nick so yes, worth it I'd say.

Additionally, I always have a roll of black 'n' nasty bodge tape in the boot should the roof get slashed

Black and Nasty?
Sorry, Rolls of sticky tape but unlike the stuff you get today black 'n' nasty was much much better x 100%. Used in the Military, amongst other fields, in the good old days.

Dodgy postcodes in Nottingham nah!! Would that be NG...anything?

Razorblades under the door handles are a useful feature I find (not sure if the boys in blue would call that a "reasonable" measure though). Might get away with "left-over" metal swarf.
