Quite a few Z3's attended this, most being BMW Club members as far as I could see, varied turn out of all makes and it stayed fine but a little windy. Something else to look at in the Steam Museum and a ride on a steam train if so inclined. Catering in their Cafe wasn't that good, ran out of sandwiches which was bad planning on their part given the numbers of exhibitors and public that attended. We left at 2p.m. and made our way back to South Wales, quite busy on the M42 but managefd to flow ok through the M6 junction and M40 junction, peeled off at Worcester for a detour to Malvern to visit family before heading home.

Bit of a long way from South Wales just for a show @colb, but some very nice areas across the border from Worcester into Wales. Hope you enjoyed the drive.

Looked an interesting venue and not that far for us in the great scheme of things, made it in to an overnight stop on the Saturday so it was a breeze to get on site for the time they wanted cars to be on site. Native of Malvern in Worcestershire and spent a good few years working in and around Birmingham and Coventry before ending up here in South Wales. Most of my family still in Malvern hence the detour on our way back, family history of being employed at Morgan Motors, just the sister left alive now and she retired a few years back although she still has her Plus 8.

Went on a tour round the Morgan factory about 10 years ago, very interesting, well worth a visit.

Yes bit of history through the years Step Dad was Machine Shop Foreman, Mother a machinist in trim shop as was my Sister. I also had 1980 4/4 4 seater for a number of years I sold it to a guy in Germany in the end.
