Getting close to purchasing my new suspension parts and have a couple of queries hopefully someone can advise on -
I have new standard springs fitted and am away to change the shocks to Sachs or Bilstein B4 so Oem.
(Looks like it currently has yellow Bilstein on the rear and black originals on the front).
My car sits slightly higher on the passenger side which I believe is quite common, so is this corrected by new shocks & springs or is it corrected by spring pad thickness or neither?
What is the original spring pad thickness on the rear and presume they flatten over time?

Mine is the same and it can be dialed out with spring pads.
Its quite common on the zed from what i found and the 3 series in general.
I thought it was the springs but i swapped them left to right and it remained the same so drivers side has a slightly thicker spring pad.
It could be the rear subframe bushes but not found any issues there.

Thanks.
Are originals 15mm thick?
If so, I presume they would flatten a bit over 20 years?
Can find 9, 12 & 15mm new ones.

So 15mm pads with eibach springs would lower the car 20mm then - hmmmmm.

Of sorts yeah because of the way the pads fit and the suspension is hinged off the subframe adding the spring pad in theory as a wedge will lift the car more than the spring pad height at the wheel end
