Most of the gang on Friday night.

.
Could tell it was going be a eventful weekend before it started ( i was late finishing so led to me being later to arrive than planned.
When i got there discovered Ant @Mad2718 Friend had brought an E89 with him that had appeared to have done in its hydraulic pump motor.
so this led to them going and aquiring some stuff to cover overnight.
Then i discovered a depressing sight on Saturday morning ( they have Guinea fowl roaming the grounds and i had parked under the edge of a tree.

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Glad I'd bought some cleaning stuff with. 😁.
So the E89 story Ant came with us till lunchtime the him and Ann did a 300 mile round trip to ditch the E89 and pick up an E85 and still made it back for Dinner.
:scorecard:.
So thought that was us sorted got to first stop fine then heading for morning coffee break got a call from @bertiejaffa to pull over as his M down on power.

So quick check and fault code clear appeared to help.
So off we went and Lee managed to nurse round.
We did end up stopping later to do same

but on Sunday appeared to be behaving.
Sunday weather much brighter and everything went smoothly.

Quick stop as we got split at a set of temporary lights so rude not to get a picture.

Unfortunately the winter wasn't very kind to bits of the roads we were on with some pretty major craters to avoid
But we managed.
Picture limit met dont have too many more as group leader everyone is always behind me.
But overall another great weekend great as always to catch up with friends and meet new ones.

Already looking forward to next year's :)

Stephen.

I think blue M's are cursed on Scottish tours.

Bertie, me and you have all had tours to remember 🤪 .

What was your drama?
Gary Lee's roadster was running a bick sick on Saturday producing various fault code but with some code reset it seemed to be a bit happier.

After the rear end refresh the diff bolts must have worked loose, so a stop at a garage with a pit diagnosed and solved the problem for us. Not quite the afternoon we expected, but enjoyed the Hartside pass after!

Big thanks to Stephen and Lynne for another superb weekend. Hotel, excellent, routes excellent [ignoring the potholes], company excellent and lo and behold, weather excellent:thumbsup:. I don't know how, but this event in early April in Scotland was a total top down success, although a couple of red cards had to be issued for having the roof up even though it wasn't raining;). It was great to meet up with old friends and make some new ones too and spend time together socially. Total miles home and back to home was 883.4 and at an average of 35MPG. [I know, I know, 35 MPG on a run, not much 'spirited driving' and cruise control on the motorway=))].

Just a few photos from me, I'm sure more will be along soon ...

As the weather was so good on Monday for the trip home we diverted off into @andyglym patch and had a great drive through the Lake District.
It added a few miles but well worth it ...

Great pics Dave. Thanks for sharing. Whose Z needed work to the engine in the lay-by?

He hasn't told me if it's a six cylinder, or still a sick cylinder.
Cleared up Sunday and as far as I know they made back with no issues ( bar Mark's burst sidewall.
Both Creator ( small and big) couldn't read properly but the codes were leaning to a misfiring 4-6 as chucking up lambda codes for rear branch of the exhaust .

Stephen.

Now Andy, you know I'm a gentleman and would not divulge such information.;)

At least not on a public forum, however whilst on the Lakes run a Guinness may loosen my tongue=))
