Went to round to the bank when I was in Irvine yesterday morning spotted this on other side of road so walked back on the other side to get a picture.

Agree with @Zephyr, I find the G29 too big and fussy.

Maybe it has to do with the audience… we grew up thinking simple lines on paper were enough to tell a story. Nowadays modern people need to be impressed by details…..
