Hi, does anybody have a spare seat base leather, with foam preferably, to help me repair my seat? Don't mind buying the whole seat if necessary of course! Passenger seat would be ok. Thanks

That might be a tough ask. Can't think of too many circumstances where someone would have a decent base with either no back or a knackered back. But good luck anyway!

I live in hope! I'm also looking into getting that part repaired of course, but prefer an original part. a good passenger seat would be ideal.

You will have a local upholster that can replace the split bolster, I had 2 done, one base and one back, £40 per bolster

Not too much of a problem then. I've taken the cover off this afternoon, surprisingly easy too.

@Z3L you can very easily repair that seat. I got into my car while I was wearing my overalls and the zip on my back pocket ripped a hole on my bolster. The tear was a lot bigger than the hole in your seat.

I bought a leather repair kit from Ebay after looking at Youtube videos and carried out the repair myself. You cannot see the repair.

I put some pics on here after I did the repair but don't know how to find them, may be someone else can find them for us ?

I think I got my repair kit from a company called "Leather Clinic" or something similar. The kit contains everything you will need but you can buy extra dye or filler if you think you're going to need it.

Thanks Ant, thought I did a "before and after" but never mind.
The tear was 120mm long and was a curved cut. I measured it and asked the repair kit seller if there was enough patching material in the repair kit. There was ample, and after seeing the YouTube videos I was able to do the repair.

Mind you, the foam in my bolster was good, so I didn't need to repair the foam part.
