Air flowing over the curved blade forces the wiper into the screen to help it clear effectively.I recently replaced mine with Bosch wipers, only one spoiler supplied in a pack that has two wipers.
What purpose does the spoiler serve ?.
Well I've learned something new .Air flowing over the curved blade forces the wiper into the screen to help it clear effectively.
This is useless information for owners of garage queens
Passengers don't need to see. In some circumstances that is a big advantage - The car equivalent of the Hitchikers panic sunglasses.Well I've learned something new .
Makes me wonder why they don't supply one for each wiper.
They'll only come with the spoiler blade, for the driver's side mate.I recently replaced mine with Bosch wipers, only one spoiler supplied in a pack that has two wipers.
What purpose does the spoiler serve ?.
I imagine you see a fair few fitted on the wrong side and upside down ?.They'll only come with the spoiler blade, for the driver's side mate.
Tony.
Every day is a school day Steve, and, sometimes I'm a teacher. I turned the blade over on this P206 but the owner will never know mate.I imagine you see a fair few fitted on the wrong side and upside down ?.
Looks like we're all going to be needing decent wipers this b.h weekend mate .Every day is a school day Steve, and, sometimes I'm a teacher. I turned the blade over on this P206 but the owner will never know mate.
Tony.
You used to be able to buy the blades loose at Halfrauds.Makes me wonder why they don't supply one for each wiper.
Just keep thinking about that warm Florida sunshine Tony, not too long now eh .Just been out to lock the conservatory doors mate and it's tipping it down here. Going to fun, and wet, if it's like this in the morning. I love getting dripped on when testing cars!
Tony.
Still might be able to Mike, I didn't look tbh.You used to be able to buy the blades loose at Halfrauds.
And its pishing it down here too. ffs....
You know how they use catch/drip trays under a car, well, Tony's ears function much the same ....Tony, not too long now eh .
We don't even bother with those inserts now Steve, blades (and decent quality that you can afford to change each year) we can buy for less than £1 each.Still might be able to Mike, I didn't look tbh.
Tried just replacing the rubber inserts years ago, didn't seem to work too well.
