Hi guys. Have just had the wheels refurbished ( split rims ) and want to check the set screws. Are these torqued and if so does anyone know what they should be.

Billy had a look on the net after reading your post came across a couple of different sites with torque settings for split rims i found one that listed bbs oz and compomotive together they vary a couple of pounds/feet depending on make but all were between 22- 26 lbs/ft with a spot of locking solution hope this maybe helps a bit
Also just thought I'd add i would tighten progressively in a spiral pattern put 1 in then do the one opposite then the one opposite that and so on till all in. then nip up. then torque in the same style of tightening.

The wheels have already been assembled by the " wheel specialist " depot here in Edinburgh and having gone for a run yesterday I just wanted to check them, they are style 42 rims
