Last Sunday was the 40th anniversary of our church's chicken BBQ. As always, I donate my time towards cooking the chickens. This year, we used new cooking grates and on the first cooking, they stuck to the wire grate. All turned out well though as it was really a minor glitch. All week, we've been having a heat wave with the temps well into the 90's and the added humidity making it feel like well over 100 almost every day. Fortunately, there was a good breeze on Sunday and we were able to cope with the day's heat along with the heat from the BBQ pits........... Frankie
