Well there could be one reason. Roads in Cornwall. Not really a fan if I'm honest. Once you get where your going - spectacular ! But getting there . . .

About five years since I've been to Cornwall, but I found the roads pretty good . Far fewer potholes than up here, perhaps you mean some of the narrow lanes.

You get narrow lanes anywhere off the beaten track though, Derbyshire has plenty !

I’ve been going to North Cornwall every summer for the last 10 years, but always loaded up with bikes and beach gear. There are some lovely roads and destinations suitable for Z’s. Some places are prone to holiday traffic and tractors etc and obviously local knowledge is good to avoid sat nav leading you down narrow lanes.
