Finally decided on this stereo, as it was cheaper than the 4100?... strange.
Got delivered today and fitted. This one comes with the external microphone so I've hidden the wires so there not visable at all and mounter the microphone on the right hand dash vent. The Mrs rang me while I was out with the roof down and she could hear me great.
Had to go to half halfrauds to get the aerial adapter, didn't realise I needed one.
Anyway got it fitted, poked the fitting spikey things out on the casing so it secures it as best I could but it's still slightly loose, doesn't rattle or anything so don't mind.
The sound quality and improvement is just insane! Never thought it would get so good just through the HU!
Safe to say new speakers have been removed from my basket haha, chuffed to bits!!
