Surprising how many busted springs are out there, Mercs, Astras etc...

Is it down to our weather corroding them away?

Or do you think they are just made on the cheap?

I wonder if it's as common in Japan where they don't salt the roads?

Or are they just a consumable that isn't expected to last forever?

My best guess is it's down to the state of our roads Tim.

my guess is that its engineered to the bare minimum. and any exception like a pot hole snaps them after they corrode.
