Interesting read Tony. The 'No' vote is currently miles ahead.
Odd that mate ........................ ;) Do like the look of the cars though and they can actually draught each other and overtake !

Tony.

I voted 'No' ....

The case against…
What would Formula One have been without Colin Chapman? Or Gordon Murray? Or John Barnard? Or Adrian Newey? If Formula One had had a standardised chassis in 2009, Brawn GP would never have had their whirlwind season, where the team's ingenious double diffuser system saw Jenson Button top the time sheets at his first test in the car by over a second.

Formula One has always been a three-way union of drivers, designers and engines.
You’ll also be taking away that delicious moment at the start of each season where fans wait to see how teams have negotiated their way through the maze of Formula One’s rulebook. And wouldn't that loss hurt the popularity of the sport?

Formula One has always been at the forefront of technology, Indy cars have never been. Perhaps the new US owners see a "coming together" of the events to maximise return from investment?:(
