Well I've managed to build my bike up to a standard I'm really pleased with.Unfortunately I'm definitely not up to a standard that I'm happy with.,need a load more saddle time.we live in a valley so every road is up (unless I want to go to England?) :slaphead: it's tougher than I remember :popcorn:

Glad you're happy with the machine Hugh and no doubt you'll get nearer to where you need to be in time. Just enjoy it. There must be some downhill bits though?;) Should be a bit easier when you get near home.

You'd love the trails my son Damon rides in the mountains east of Santiago, Chile where he lives. He had a major wipeout a few years ago and did a lot of damage to the landscape with his skin left behind. The way you get around, he'd love to have you visit sometime!! JIM
