Been out driving today in the South East corner. Found a few places without people and too many buildings; they do still exist in the garden of England.
@hard top first picture is Sibton Wood around Stowting (just before channel tunnel makes a mess). 2nd picture is on the run back north through Kent Kings Wood near Challock. It's hard to find a view without houses not like @Andy McDonnell country and there are hedges on most of the good roads but there are some lovely areas too.
The obsession with hedges in our county drive me nuts! Ruins perfectly good roads and views usually making it more dangerous if anything.
The bit between Challock and Canterbury has been resurfaced mostly so a nice drive now.
That's not good, hopefully be all gone by the time I get my Z out again.
By the way I saw a silver Z8 in Harrietsham once and probably the same one in Canterbury city Centre - only twice in many many years.
Like them but bloody dangerous, nearly got taken out once on a single track in Devon when a Defender came bombing round a bend at what seemed like a million miles an hour. Squeaky bum time that was I can tell you.
