Last I was helping a mate fit up some Bluetooth towing lights on his Suzuki.
When we plugged in the unit to the original towing 7-pin socket we had no left turn indicators.
After some digging we found this mess behind the n/s/r light and bumper. Unbelievably everything on the car was still working.

So we cut all that out, cut off the 7-core from the socket and used a piece of it to repair the 5 wire loom.
Graham reported that he didn't have a pile of Ash on his drive this morning so I would rate it as a success.

Tony.

The dreaded Scotchlocks strike again, never ever use them where they can get damp, solder and heat shrink joints are preferred for good joints.
