Solar eclipse

Looking good so far here sun is up and skies pretty clear, will have to escape from work and have a look. Might have to sneak a long coffee break. This a bit easier as I work on my own and nobody really watching over me.
 
It's really dull here this morning so don't think we will see much :)
I know it will go darker but that all I think we will see for the people in my area ;)

I work from home Brian, but I've already asked myself for 10 minutes off to take the Z out and take a few moody pics ;)
 
I'll be on my way to work ;)
So hopefully I'll get a good view too ........ :)
As I'm taking the roof down on the Z :)
 
One of the last times there was an eclipse, the site manager arranged a fire drill, so that we could get outside to see it :)

Managed a couple of snaps this morning, when the cloud covered it ...

Ah, so that's what everyone has been fussing about. Complete cloud coverage here, so stayed at my desk!

No I'm in the UK and at work. It happens a lot....Google and MSN think I'm over there too so I get all the ads in Dutch too.

All we see was cloud ;)
It went slightly dark , but not dark enough even to have our car lights on ;)
 
Yep i saw nothing apart from it dropping a little darker. Very overcast down Bishop Stortford
 
I was down in Bristol and it was really disappointing. It just went slightly darker. Couldn't see anything for cloud coverage. Oh well 11 years and we can do it all again. :cool:
 
It was very clear in Lincoln, really good view of it. Gave me ear ache though this afternoon, through some numbskull moaning about his headache because of looking at the sun too much. 38 yo, give me strength.
