Soft Top packed up.....doh

My soft top has again stopped working. The first time I had this problem not long ago, it was the brake switch. I replaced it and all was well. Recently it hasn't always immediately opened when I operate the switch to open it. It always closes fine and the motor sounds normal. Now it won't open at all. It sounds like a micro switch. Not sure where to find them......any ideas?

Microswitch is found behind a plate on the left hand side of the frame above passenger seat
When I had this issue I bypassed the switch (clipped both wires together ) to test hood worked replace switch all ok
