Soft top hydraulic lifter component

Hey guys,
Could you help me out with the OEM number of this component please? Hydraulic pump works fine, it's just the component that is not working properly. I can't find it at the bmwfans catalog either.

Which part exactly are you after? Can you mark it with chalk and retake the picture?

Are you able to say why this is not working ? Its just a metal swivel bracket that changes the force from the rod to the frame. Would be hard to break that. From your photographs the rod end is disconnected and the little cover securing sleeve is missing. If it is bent somehow, I would say that the bracket would be part of the roof frame system.

From realoem, the ram is shown with the securing clip. The frame is shown complete on the next screen grab.

Your bracket seems to be part of item1. Which is the full frame for the roof.

Have you tried to connect the ram to the roof ? Does the roof work manually or does it fowl on the way up and down ?

Hope you can work it out, because if the bracket is as stated in the realoem drawings, it is a compete roof frame swap.

I agree with @t-tony . The part should work unless it is actually broken. A break should be pretty obvious.

Perhaps, you could show us it not working with a video.
