Got mine from UK Custom covers.
Very good materials. Velcro straps round the mirror and traps in bonnet and boot lid.
Has magnets around the skirt also.
Having invested in a new hood in the summer i thought it wise to get a decent cover.

I purchased a second hand as new BMW one for £60, perhaps 6 months ago now. Use it all the time in the winter. As above, Velcro mirror fastenings and weighted "skirt". Close to essential if car lives outdoors, and takes a minute to put on, less to remove.
I got mine from Custom Covers in Portsmouth. I think it cost around £60 if I remember correctly

I also have one from UK Custom Covers and it is an excellent fit. If you put it on the car when the hood is damp the dampness can't escape, so I like to remove it when there's no rain expected. Find it on ebay at item number 281616476083.

I got one of these, they work very well BUT if you have a facelift, water will pool on the 'raise bum cheek', and slide on the inside of the cover to pool at the top of the door. To prevent that, I shift the fabric at that point to prevent this happening.
That half cover is very nice, very well made, and will also fit over the hard top -- I used it all of last week for the snow weather. just removed it earlier in fact since I got to use the car tomorrow, first time in a week!

I have one from Cabrio sheild which is trapped under the boot lid and front and back of the doors and light magnets along the side covered by a fleecy layer.Breathable as well. It has faded now but three years of winters still no leaks.

Nice one, the one I got is fully waterproof, and I could see quite a bit of moisture under it when I removed it earlier. Mind you we've had had a proper week of winter weather, snow, hard frost etc so it's hardly surprising!
For the people that have a cover from UK Custom Covers:
My car is a racing only car.
It doesn't have the normal softtop, but is has a full cage (so the contours are still the same).
As I don't have a softtop anymore, I was woundering if this halfcover could be used when trailering the Z3 (left say up to 65 Mph)?
Possible with extra fixures.

It’s held down by the boot lid, under the windscreen wipers and possibly the back corners of the bonnet at the base of the A pillars. As long as you can use all those fixing points you might be okay. The custom cover material is quite heavy, so doesn’t flap around in strong wind when the car is parked up. Might need something to strap it down over the top of the roof to prevent it lifting off.
