We see how much the price of gas is going up and up and up. Now let's see.................it hasn't cost any more to get it out of the ground,......it hasn't cost any more to refine it......it hasn't cost any more to ship it.......there hasn't been a hurricane destroying a refinery........there hasn't been any hackers messing up the computers for the delivery system...........there's no shortage of oil.......SO......who's getting all the extra money paid at the pump??????? Back in 2008, it was reported that Exxon made BILLIONS in profit for just ONE QUARTER OF THE YEAR. And there's the war in the Ukraine. It COULD disrupt something the the oil system even though it ACTUALLY HASN'T. so because of this POSSIBILITY, we'll just triple the price of gas just to be on the safe side..................Don't Worry.......EVERYONE WILL PAY....................Frankie

Reports today Frankie of a guy going to a petrol station with a wheely bin and filling it. Not only that he returned later and did it again. There isn't a shortage of fuel here, YET, but there soon could be with idiots acting this way.
A few years ago when there was a fuel shortage a guy did this and had open bins of fuel in his house and it burned to the ground. He was a self employed taxi driver who was worried that he may not have fuel for his Cab and that his competitors might have.

Shareholders and investers will benefit and obviously the Arab world. OPEC effectively a cartel. When you can ship a commodity or goods around the world, there will be a global price.
Take wheat - flour prices are going to rise worldwide due to supplies from Russia and the Ukraine, yet the UK produces 90 % of our wheat usage, and so our supply isnt really effected. However due to the global price rise, we'll pay more.

There willl be a lot of affected commodities and far reaching issues due to Putins actions - dont think the world has seen the real pain as yet that will come.
Not forgetting the plight of the Ukrainians who are having to take on Russia atm, and doing an amazing job.

I know a fella that works at a refinery close to my work place . He once told me that he likes it when the price of gas goes up , because their bonuses go up , hes not company man either . I say hes going to have one killer bonus this year . I think it also has something to do with the push to electric vehicles , high gas prices ? go electric ! no thank you

The war is getting blamed for it here too , by the media . The prices were climbing before the invasion ever started .
