Just looking through my 2002 Z3 3.0.sport service history and the main service that took place at a main agent BMW dealer many years ago has a tick against a "Microfilter".. What could this be any ideas? I'm led to believe there is no cabin/pollen filter fitted to Z3s

My car has air con fitted does this have some sort of filter on it if so where??

The service book covers all models or did when the Z3 was produced. the saloon and compact models had cabin filters.

Same for Transport Mode on Z4's, bet a lot of owners went to BMW and were charged for diagnostics when the symptoms pointed directly to Transport mode which takes minutes to reset or even delete which they should have done when the car was new at PDI. Just another money grabbing exercise by BMW.
