These two Special girls are my Daughter in law to be Pip and my Niece Daisy, both in my eyes doing sterling work to help keep the country going during our hour of need. Pip works for Nottinghamshire Police and Daisy is a student nurse in Surrey who has been moved to frontline duties due to the crisis and is NOT being paid. Anyone else got frontline family members they are worried about? Please do not turn this into a political debate about if the Gov are doing the right think and do we have enough PPE to go round. Everyone is doing their best in these unprecedented times. Keep smiling peeps!! :)

We’re all immensely proud of those protecting us and looking after us. I’m sure that they’re so wrapped up in what they’re doing that they have little time or energy to appreciate it. We just can’t keep saying how much we recognise what they’re doing and thank them for it. Please pass on our collective thoughts and gratitude to these lovely young ladies

My Daughter is in the NHS and Daughter-in-law works at ALDI. Very proud of them both.

My Fiance Jemma works at the doctors surgery, on reception. She says it's been horrible there the past couple of weeks, she is shattered every night when she gets home. Her Mum and partner are Ambulance technicians both in their 60's working stupid hours and it's starting to catch up with them now. Her mum was in bed all day yesterday not feeling well at all, not like her but she is just so drained. They work damn hard during normal times, can't start to imagine what anyone who is a key worker is going through at the moment.

It's tough times for all concerned Dave but we need them more than ever now.

Poor lady on the checkout in Aldi the other day was terrified, it was obvious she didnt want to be there. They get forgotten in all this and we need them equally as much as the main services.

Yes @Grumps and @Mint everyone working in retail either consumer facing or behind the scenes are doing a sterling job. Keep smiling everyone :)

Our Abz is back on the Covid ward today. We’re very proud of her but as a parent very worried too.

Tony.

I can imagine your mixed emotions @t-tony she’s very brave as are all working in frontline services. I’m sending you and yours my very best wishes.

Total respect. To all. Daughter is NHS working in a nearby Hospital Pathology lab. Mentioned when the first positives came through, probably shouldnt, but confirmed in that afternoons news. Worrying times . . .
