Time of the year, people are unloading the summer cars, you will see even more in the spring when the sun returns.

Prices move with the time of year. Now is the time to buy, spring the time to sell.

The price of Z3s continues to amaze. A decent Triumph spitfire MKIII now demands almost £10K, a MGB a bit more. Z3s are better built and more usable, even at 20 years of age. We are fortunate (unless selling of course).:)

I've driven plenty of classic cars, and plenty of modern classics.

Only yesterday I moved a lovely MX5 Mk1 that a dealer has stuck away for the future.

Our Z3's drive so well compared to many.

So watch this space, as everything slowly goes electric, any modern classic car will start to look very attractive in a world of soul less, governed, expensive, new electric cars.

My only worry is that in 5/10 years time to government will try to tax petrol cars off the road.

I think we will be ok for next 15 years, but after that the availability of petrol will become an issue. Can also see use being restricted to high days and holidays. Future for petrol heads not looking good, so enjoy while we can!

So, obviously no one really knows but what effect is this going to have on the billions of pounds invested in petrol cars if we are saying that petrol will be a thing of the past.... Me personally I can't see it. If anyone has ever driven an electric car you will understand by when I say soul less :(

I don't think they'll become a thing of the past, but I'm sure the government will tax them really highly.

All in the name of the environment of course.

I worked in the oil & gas biz for a good while from the early 80's up until a couple of years ago for service company's such as Schlumberger etc and for Wintershall, Germany's largest internationally active crude oil and natural gas producer.
I agree with below ....

LONDON, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Just as the energy industry has brushed aside concerns that the world could run out of oil, industry executives now say they believe it is demand, rather than supply, that is nearing its apex.

BP earlier this week said the world is no longer at risk of running out of oil or gas for decades ahead. Existing technology is capable of unlocking so much fossil fuel that global reserves would almost double by 2050 to 4.8 trillion barrels of oil equivalent (boe), the British giant said.

With new exploration and technology, the resources could leap to a staggering 7.5 trillion boe, it said.
