Put my summer wheels and tyres on last night then went of for a 7hr spin round the Lake's, nice and steady. Had my cracked rear wheel welded last month, put a couple of coats of primer on followed up by 3 coats of paint from rattle cans. Left it a week before putting the tyre on, time for the weld to settle. No more run flats for me (they came with the wheels), awful ride. Put my Avon ZV5's back on (balanced), a much much better ride.

You need to keep an eye on that weld for some time. James Cutler's flat on the Scottish trip was caused by 2 old welds which had cracked.
