    Mick,

    I have a snow foam lance, from cleanyourcar.

    Its a great piece of equipment.

    It takes a while to get the correct solution mix.

    But when you do it's amazing.

    Do you use the snow foam as a pre-wash treatment, or is it a good enough wash on its own?

    Use it as a prewash treatment.

    It's a prewash treatment. Lets you soak the car in a foamy degreaser and start shifting the stuck on stuff.

    In theory it makes it easier to wash off the worst before your wash mitt touches the paint work.

    I just use fairy liquid and a yard brush..... gets most of the dirt off.

    Try a brillo pad for the more stubborn dirt, works a treat :D

    I'd like to watch you too clean with a brush and brillow pad.

    If you like that , go down the 5 pound wash (gravel included) 8-}

    Thanks guys, sounds like its not that much different to the detergent that plugs into my pressure washer. Don't let the zed get that dirty, so I will stick with a straight hand wash (pressure washer is for the Freelander - the poles won't wash that for a fiver!)

    Snow foam is an essential item in detailing and washing a car properly.

    Without a doubt.
