Slight roof leak

Hi there, suspect this question has been asked a thousand times before (I am very new to this forum, to Z3 ownership, or indeed to ownership of any convertible tbh, so apologies if I’m posting in the wrong place…)

Absolutely loving the new car so far but noticed a small but persistent drip of water from the inside top of passenger door in today’s rain. Nothing too dramatic but would like to find a fix nonetheless.

Perhaps a degree of water ingress is just a fact of life with 20-year-old convertibles stored out in the open? But are there any Z3-specific tips I should know about to ensure snug fit between the window and roof seal? (the seals themselves look to be in pretty decent nick, so I suspect they’re not the issue…)

Many thanks in advance for any advice from Z3 veterans, looking forward to being part of this forum!

Hi,on the underneath part of the door there are two bolts which
when loosened you adjust the camber of the window to make
it fit tighter against the seals.
Or another adjustment can be made to the roof hooks a small tx bit
loosened the hook which then can be adjusted either way.
Good luck hope it works for you !
