Sitting here freezing........

The first time was the barbecued roly poly, ..... I just meant I don’t want to put metal in the microwave with a chance of having another load of smoke.

Did the bicarbonate thing and microwave is better now, so thank Shirl for the tip.

I have realised that a lot of the smoke from the microwave went into the boiler which is above it, so removed all the casing of that and cleaned everything.

Just as well it wasn't a real fire, it would have meant a new kitchen!!!!!!

We’re having beautiful weather so open your kitchen window , the smell will soon go :)
Also get a little pot of water and stick a few slices of lemon in it , put the microwave on for about a minute and leave the water and lemon in the microwave for a few days , just take it out when you use it . The smell will go in no time :)
