I had a Simota for a while, and it's fantastic quality. I think Zedonist had some evidence that the Piper Cross air kits were less restrictive than the K&N equivalent. Can't find the chart he posted up but did find this...

For CAI use a Pipercross cone filter, I used to use K&N until recently and the change was noticeable.
