Just a few pictures from me. After starting Thursday with a heat wave, hence the lack of clothing by the camping crew. Lots of wet weather put a damper on the weekend nothing could take anything away that our little club had the best location and IMO the most attractive stand (big boys take note). As said previous great work by Stacey and Martin and thank you to the event organisers for the great location.
Thank you to everyone that came and allowed me to boss you about to get parked up looking very smart
Guys you did an awesome job parking up and did yourself and Zroadster.org very proud!!!! The amount of spectators poping over to our stand complementing all your cars was lovely to hear
I hope to see you all back next year and hopefully break our record of Zeds attending Silverstone Classic 2020
Shame about the weather but it looks like that didn’t stop you putting on a great show stand, pics look fantastic, sorry I had to miss this one. Was great to see the bread vans taking up some space with the rest, this should be the start of a great and long awaited closer relationship, was so surprised to see them separate at last years classic. Well done Stacey for getting the “M” bakers to bring in their vans.
From stupidly hot to very soggy in 24 hours the variety of z's was on par with the weather, great stand organisation by Stacey and Martin and thanks to fellow z campers for a fun weekend and the doughnuts and pizza. Lots of great stand photos already posted so a few different ones from us.
We done good...we showed them how you do it....the view when you come over the bridge was spectacular....even if we did loose the gazebo
It was good to see the (other club) members come over to display with us..and rightly so...
The weather was crap but the effort people made shone through.
Stacey you did us proud kido..
Just a word of warning though....don't mess with Stacey when she's in organizing mode...you have been warned
@Paul Rice I am on the case for next year to see what I can get hold of at a reasonable price
When @GazHyde reviews a potential new insurer to advertise here hopefully they will be the ones to sponsor us with a small marque and join us next year on our stand
"Memories of another incredible Silverstone Classic are still fresh in our minds but the clock has already started counting down to next year’s event and we're delighted to announce that our provisional dates are 31 July to 2 August 2020!"
Stacey we'll have to get another thread going for next year so that we get the list going in case we need a BIGGER plot.
A few photos from Silverstone, a variety of subject matter!!
The Alfa Quadrifoglio was an absolute hoot to test drive, 510 bhp on tap and the noise! The Tesla Model 3 S was amazing experience also.
Tiff Needell and Louise Goodman present this year's highlights programme on ITV4 once again! Don't miss it when it airs on Sunday 18 August, they can be seen doing a piece for the program.
Alan Titchmarsh has a lovely old Bentley.
Mike Brewer's Zagato looks a bargain.
