Write Up Silverstone Classic

Thanks @BMBabe for organising both BMWCC and Zroadster.org Z's together. Great display resulted from your very hard work. Very nice to have met you also. I've lurked about the Z4-Forum for a while but now joined here as well. Love the Silverstone Classic. :racecar:One of the best shows of the year. Had a great drive back in the dark, roof down obviously. :coolsteer)
Cheers Gary.:drinks:

Hey up grumps shhh you Carnt say that word on here (net ) I have had a telling off.
You missed a great weekend and the guys and girls wree out standing organising brilliant,

P.S Can I book the same spot next time please

Well what a weekend that was, great weather, great company and loads of great cars/motorbikes.
All the Z3 M Coupe owners would like to thank Stacy and Martin for all the work they put in to enabling the extra M Coupes to get into Silverstone. Without their help we wouldn't have been able to have the total of 16 Coupes on Saturday. The parade lap was an absolute hoot which everyone enjoyed, pity about the Lambo's, Scimitars etc in front of us who slowed us down!!
:racecar:
Although it would have been great to be on the same plot as Z3.org cars, the consensus amongst the owners was that we were happy to stay put on the plot we had as we then had plenty of space, the racing was so close to see & HEAR. Also loads of passing footfall enquiring about these curious cars, are they a new model etc.
Maybe next year without so many Porsches turning up we might be able to get a spot close to Z3.org.

On a personal note I was able to get to explore more this year that the last couple of years, even got to meet two of my racing motorcycle heroes Freddie Spencer and Steve Parrish (showing my age now).

Couple of great pictures taken by Fat Tony (Not actually in the least bit fat) and PJ Westerby from Z3 M Coupe site

Stacy nearly losing her phone!!

Stacy hope you are feeling better after you were a bit under the weather on Sunday.

Again I'm sure everyone appreciated all your hard work that you put in to make the weekend a complete success for both Z3.org and M Coupe sites.

***The photo's show up in the post as I was writing it but don't show on the thread????***

Great pictures Stace, thank you. Looks like you all had a great time. Love the pics of Paul pouring the wine and Martin slaving over the grille. Awesome !.

Also Tony has provided a link to other photos he took on Saturday, if anyone is interested to have a look.
