Looking to buy tickets etc for family for 2025 Silverstone Grand Prix. Considering the Thursday to Sunday package. Question -anyone done this, is a lot happening after the Practice etc? Or is shorter stay better? Also what is the camping like....I hate camping but will do it if I have to haha

Win the lottery @bombur ? I have fancied it for while but the price always puts me off...holding out for my daughter to get her hands on some corporate hospitality tickets 😁

General admission seems about £145 each for all 4 days. Am I missing something here ?

Yip so for two of you you won’t get much change out of £1500 with travel, accommodation and food

There is now very limited access on GA tickets. No longer roving areas over the pre race days, no access to grandstands as previously. Camping is extortionate now having increased 20% since last year and 30% the year before.

Our costs last year for 3 adults, nominated grandstand seats with no roving, camping in a motorhome was just on £3500.00

Each year further restrictions on taking alcohol in, less merch outlets other than the official ones where for example a cap was £85, available for £32 online. Beers were £8 a pint in the circuit outlets, burgers £14, chips £5, it really is very poor value nowadays. So much so we are not bothering again.

What about going to the festival of speed instead @bombur ..you get some F1 action close up and a load more besides. Beer is still £8 pint though. 😁

Once I explained the all in costs to the misses, the whole thing is off the radar. Now I have a negotiation position.as it wasnt my idea in the first place ..we will see
