Sills

hello all, looking for recommendations here. I bought a Z3 Orinoco recently. The sills look ok from the outside. But, I'd still like to get them checked out, and waxoyl etc to protect them from future harm. I live in Farnborough, Hants, but happy to travel. Can you recommend a place/person to get the sills checked out , repaied if need be and coated with waxoyl please

There are guides in threads on here showing how to do this, its a pretty simple process if you have axle stands and a jack, all of the panels simply bolt on. Always best to have new clips and bolts/screws to hand as some of the clips will break when you take the sills off and some of the bolts will no doubt be rusty and not fit for reuse. If you can't do it yourself then any body shop should be able to quote you for doing the job but it won't be cheap given the rates they charge these days. Since you are in Hampshire best bet would be to speak to RBM at Fleet in Hampshire who specialises in BMW's Z3 and Z4. Many on here have used him and give positive feedback on his services on their cars.
