Guys

I'm looking for a usable (Not holed or crumbling) pair of outer sills for our narrow body early car. Also, a drivers handbook for a 1997 would be nice. Can anyone help?

Thanks

John welcome
I think I am right in saying the sills are the same on all models I have a pair of off my 2002 3.0l which need a bit of attention on front sill offside which I could get sorted if you were interested they are Titan silver but the areas needing attention would be in primer or sprayed in your colour at a price which I would have to get from my body shop chaps. Regards

Geoff

Hi Geoff,
I think you’ll find the sills are different as I was told by BMW when I bought new for my car.

Might be worth a call to a dealer.

I was told that the only different parts are the wings but I will let the buyer check that out

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure narrow and wide sills are different-unfortunately!

My understanding is that they differ towards the rear quarters. Yes, best for the buyer to determine.

Unfortunately, the buyer isn't absolutely sure-which is why I want to check...... ;)

Here's my opinion into the mix I have a narrow body pre facelift and a facelift zed I just looked at them both as parked beside each other and I would say they are different.
They differ at the top rear where it meets the quarter panel to follow the line of the body ( and different width of wheel arch ) si can only imagine a narrow body and wide body are significantly different there as the wide body quarters are wider than my facelift.
