Just got car back after getting various suspension bushes replaced at my indy. OMG as title suggests, the silence is deafening!! Didn't realise how noisy it had been till I got it back today.
Originally went in to get front lower arm bushes and rear outer axle carrier bushes sorted, alas the rear shocker top mounts were also found to be shot and were duly replaced aswell.
The ride is transformed, a definite positive result.

Surprising how changing a few bushes etc can quiten the car down.
When me and @t-tony renewed the suspension on my zed, it got rid of a really annoying squeaky rattle that was always there when the roof was up .
Improved the ride a lot as well.

The main source of the noise at the rear of the car, the shock absorber top mounts. The drivers side being a two piece item!!

Well worth checking out your top mounts if you have any knocking at the back.

My drivers side top mount has just gone, doesn't half go with a bang! In the process of ordering a new set.
