Planning on a 30mm drop in suspension on my 2.8 widebody. I’m running 17” style 68 wheels and want to see what the best spacer width choice would be for front and back. Show me what your setup is!

Also recommendations on which and where to purchase would be useful. At the moment I’m thinking of adding 20mm rear and 10mm to the front.

I had 20mm on rear and 14mm on front on my Z3. These are now on my Z4. I'll dig some pictures of the Z3 out later if I can find them.

Tony.

This is 20mm on the rear of mine, I don't have any on the front.

Cheers Tony. For the 14s on the front, do you also need longer bolts?

You’ll need at least 25mm for the 68’s as they are 50 offset I think.
8,5j et 41 like the style 78’s are still just inside the arch with a 25mm spacer on a MK1 2.8!(the original is wider than the facelift by a couple mm)
I could run 12,5mm in the front too quite comfortably with these

Really useful info on the offset for my style 68s. Thanks Dino.

Took some pictures today of my current setup, before lowering springs and spacers.

Style 68 wheels and the fronts are actually not as set in as much as I thought. So +10mm on the front might be the max I’d want to go.

The rears on the other hand, have masses of mm’s to go before being near to the arch overhang level.

Apologies. Just realised this was posted in the wrong section. Mods, please feel free to shift it to the proper place.

Do staggered wheels make a difference on a pre-facelift ?
I have style 18 staggered - does the above spacer advice still apply?
