Shocks and struts

So the m section in this forum seems dead so let me try here. What are people doing for struts and shocks.

I’ve been waiting for many months for oem Lemforder Z3M top mounts at a reasonable price. AUTODOC usually sell them for £80 a side but have been NA but at last https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/product/1941043-new?product=31-33-2-227-898 but still pricey for what they are. I bought some secondhand Koni shocks and springs from Lee which was a budget option for me but in the future when they need replacing I’ll think I will have a Bilstien B8 or B12 kit with H&R springs. Hopefully you can top mounts cheaper than mine for your Z4M.

I've been buying Meyle Shocks and struts. Seem to be doing well.

What suspension do you have on the Z3M? Standard or sports?

Specific Sports shocks and struts are silly money. Standard shocks and struts fit and work OK on sport springs. The height difference is not enough to cause problems.
