Day 1 - drove down in the Tesla to pick up T86 KJF from another forum member. My first Z3 experience and after a quick test drive I drove it the 120 miles back to Sheffield in the glorious sunshine with the top down all the way. Made it all the way back on the tank of fuel Rob had left in (top man) and already loving the M44 experience. Hoping to get out to the Peaks for a proper drive before the end of the week.

Day 2 - can't believe the difference in weather but to be fare we were due some rain following the dry May. Anyway it gave me a chance to look round the Zed for any of the usual leaks - fortunately none found. Weather improved in the afternoon so I managed to ge a run out out to Hathersage - well a new to you car is still a new car after all.

Week 2 - got T86 KJF back today from its new to me service with all new filters, plugs and an oil and break fluid change. Mechanic gave it the thumbs up as a cracking little motor so we went for a celebratory drive out to Tideswell and back via Hathersage. A bit foggy to say the least or is that just low cloud

Week 3 - out with the old in with the new.

I know what you mean. I’ve always felt that my car needed sixth gear.

Week 4 - no more wet boot thanks to the £3.44 I chucked at Sytner Oldbury for a new break light gasket

Week 5 - car had developed an issue and was running a bit lumpy with erratic rev build under acceleration. As suspected the air intake hose was split and the crankcase breather valve full of debris - replace both and problem solved.

Week 6 - as per my other post I've managed to source a low mileage pre-facelift 2.8 and just don't have the room to hold on to T86 KJF so looking to move on to its next owner. Appreciate its only been 6 weeks but really enjoyed the M44 and can definately see me returning for more once I've scratched the 6 cylinder itch. For sale on ebay but.
