Re: opinions please

It looks sort of ok in the picture, but in reality it would be difficult to do due to the curves of the bootlid?

Re: opinions please

I'm not convinced, but get some vinyl wrap and try it first. That way you can take it of if it sucks!

It's a separate panel on the M's so would probably come off to spray it.

I think the vinyl approach is a good idea so you can try it out.

Re: opinions please

No leave it because I'm doing that to mine :ymdevil: it is a separate panel and is held down behind the numberplate and behind by adhesive tape so be extremely careful if you do remove it.

Re: opinions please

I would do it satin black, like they did on the old Mk2 mexico's and RS 2000 always looked cool

Re: opinions please

IMHO, I quite like it, its different and why not?

The vinyl wrap is a good idea, so you can check what you think of it before getting it sprayed.

Re: opinions please

I kind of got the idea from the old mk3 astras where the base models where plain at the back and the sports had a black panel.. i always thought it made them look so much better.. and wondered if it would work on the zed??

From my photoshop you cant really get the effect as the paint colour is alot darker and mettalic.. (same as wheels)

Vynal would be a safer option but it wouldnt give me the right colour im after

im undecided :-?

The vinyl purely to mock it up on the car, although it could be a permanent solution if you can find the right colour!
