Write Up Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb 12th June BMWCC

Well manged to make it for the day, but weather forcast was not the greatest, so ended up in the VW.

Big thank you to Martin for the runs up the hill in his Z3. He drives it like he stole it.

Great day out, good to meet Jackjabba & mrs for a chat, about 40 or so various cars. among them were 2 breadvans a Z8 and 3 Z3's. I am trimming down some of the videos & photos, should have them posted by end of the week along with a few more words maybe. BMWCC has a few pics on their facebook.

Hi Brian, yup that's me, this one is coming back down in convoy. Was a good day,started wet & dried right out. Some nice machinery giving it some welly too. I have some vids to load, should be done soon.

Here you go chaps & chapeses, some youtube clips of my runs on Shelsley. these are from a camera mounted on the bumper so a bit of spray & wind noise. One is a rear view, I thought that might be a bit different. the last one is a "proper" hill climber. you will see & hear the difference.
The track record sits at around 22 seconds for a 1000 Mtr climb, we didn't have timing on the day but I recon from the vid clips, these were early on so I did get a little quicker, I got around 45 seconds and may have shaved a second or 2 in the after lunch runs when the sun was out. I have a couple from my in car camera and some of the other cars. I'll get them on soon.
