Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Does anyone know where to get a good service manual for the 1999, M roadster with the S50 B32 engine fitted.

Cheers
Dave

I think that The Bentley Manual would likely be the best thing for you (could be wrong) but they're fairly expensive and don't come up for sale very often.

There is one for sale in Miami just now for $84 + $16 P&P

I have the yellow cover version of the Bentley Z3 service manual. Published in 2008. Had a look though the cylinder head removal/installation section as a sample. Could not see any references to the S50 engine. The S52 (USA version) was mentioned in the M52 sections. The S54 got the occasional mention but nothing detailed.

If I owned a Z3 with a S50 or S54 engine, the Bentley service manual is good for everything else except the engine. I would be looking for a M3 manual that covered the engine of interest.

Hi Guys, Thank you for the responses, i have seen the Bentley manual but as has been mentioned it doesn't deal with the S50 engine. I was hoping there was a euro version with the S 50 engine.
Would BMW have such a manual?

BMW TIS is probably the best thing out there. Covers everything. I've never had a problem that I couldn't solve. The only problem is that repairs are based on BMW's modular approach (e.g. replace a windscreen wiper motor, rather than remove it, strip it and replace the brushes)

2nd best is the Chilton (doesn't cover M engines)

3rd best is the US Haynes (doesn't cover M engines)

I have a Bentley that I've never opened in 10 years!!!
