I am sure this has been answered many times before,
I need to service my 1999 Z3 1.9 M44 with 74,000 miles
Recommendations for
Oil
Filter
Plugs
Leads
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
I am going to flush the cooling system is it best to change the Thermostat? I am also thinking of replacing Front and Rear Discs and Pads. Euro Car Parts have offers on all the above at the moment anyone used Eicher Pads and discs? They are nearly 1/2 the price of the known brands, I will only be using the car standard road use. 5w40 oil should be fine, some use 5w30. Filters get whatever fits, Bosch ones are good. Leads ive never heard anyone change then as a service thing they dont break down that often. Fuel filter too check before you replace because its a bit hard to do and you may not need to.
Engine oil i read somewhere the capacity is 5L but go slow and check in between, i had like 400-500mL left in the bottle and the stick was very close to max. Dont overfill it.
I havent changes spark plugs but i heard that Bosch iridium ones are good.
Brake discs i assume its same to mine 286mm. Havent changed mine yet so cant recomend anything.
You can just drain and refil the radiator. Check the reservoir because it can leak under pressure if its old.

Opie Oils down in Sunny Cornwall near School of Mining. All my dealings with them have been good. I have no connection other than a satisfied customer. Sorry but i not good enough to put a link up to them. I was the last Ludite before I retired , I still have slide rule on my desk
