Seat problems

Just picked up my first Z3 and find the driver’s seat doesn’t move in any direction.
No sound from the motor. Seat is fully back.
The passenger seat works.
Also where can I get a replacement gear shift?

The motors are relatively simple to disassemble and clean, various threads on here show you how to do it. Having had to do mine twice, I’d check the carpet (and foam underneath) aren’t wet.

Look in the " Resources" section of this forum, see blue ribbon at the top of your screen.

• Top of page 1 are the 2 sets of wiring diagrams for the UK Z3's.
• On page 2 are the USA Z3 wiring diagrams. These cover 98% of the UK Z3's.

Know the build date of your Z3 (mm/yy). Look on the lower right of the first page of the wiring diagrams to see the date range that it applied to.
