So my seat moves a little and having read everything online about the bushes I bought a set to fit.
Out came the seats (bloody broke the seat belt guide doing it) and out came the sliders only to find a previous owner had already done the job.
So does anyone have any idea on how to fix my problem?
The seat moves only fractionally but you feel it under acceleration and braking. It feels like it rises up at the front and tips back a fraction. If I grab hold of the head rest and pull and push forward and back the seat will move slightly.
Looking underneath with the seat not in its lowest position you can see the movement, it seems to emanate from the lifting mechanism that lowers and raises the seat. If I put the seat in its lowest position the fault disappears but I don't like it in its lowest level.
At the moment I have a small block of wood that I lower the seat onto and it helps but would love to fix it for good.
I think there is two problems, the reclining part of the back is a bit loose and the bit that raises it too but I have in idea how to fix........
Anyone else seen this?
