Having decided to tackle a few jobs on the Z3 whislt waiting to get the outer sills off I tried the seat height adjuster.
Removed the seat, very easy!
Hit the motor and replaced the seat.
Now the height adjuster makes a louder click when moved up and down but still no movement.
Any ideas?

Only kidding, with the seat in situ and plugged in use a 10 inch extension bar to get to the motor and get someone to activate the switch while you tap the motor. Worked for me on several Zeds.
