Seat belt guide question

I’ve read some threads here and looked at replacement parts for my driver’s side seatbelt guide.

I saw an ebay auction that shows the guide secured by two screws (photo attached) as opposed to what I understand the OEM installation with plastic studs and some kind of press nut.

Exterior screws look a lot easier than disassembling the seat to get those pressnits on. Does this work, and what size self tapping screws would I need?

This is how I repaired my belt guide. Cost. Zero.

Will only work if you leave the cylindrical part of the guide that goes inside the seat still attached to the round flexi fixing that is inside the seat so you can screw the new one to it otherwise there is nothing to screw it into, it will look a little bit out of place as will be impossible to get it snug enough just by screwing I think as it will be a little bit loose due to the extra material of the stubs of the new guide plus the stubs you need to leave in

Thanks - the lower half of the guide is missing so I am looking at buying a replacement part anyways. I was only wondering if there was a simpler way to anchor it
