Write Up Scottish run recce

Thought I'd do a write up on my weekend away even though we did not take a zed it was a recce for a zed run .
So left the house 11.30 heading for Kyle of Lochalsh just as Friday's storm was coming into Scotland full force dry but windy till got to Loch lomond then weather started to really close in ( didn't take any pictures till glencoe as weather bad planning to do it on return trip but took different route)
Got to just before Glencoe and weather broke a bit got Lynne to take a couple of pictures

then literally a minute later

Dark by time got to hotel so after a very wet and windy drive up we were looking forward to the following day .

So up early on saturday morning ( still dark)
Down for breakfast at hotel prepared to depart on the big day ahead the plan being to drive both days Scottish run in the one day the biggest problem with this idea was going to be that on 8 th of December in Skye and Lochalsh sunrise was 08.49 and sunset 15.41 not giving many hours of daylight in which to achieve this. ( but hey I like a challenge)

over the bridge and onto the island some great views beckons in the distance

These are just a few of the pictures I took Skye such a stunning island with some amazing geology .
Our whistle stop tour of Skye without stops got us back to hotel early afternoon so decided to give day 2 a shot see how much we could cover of it
