Event Scottish run 2020. 19th 20th September.

Hi guys got my leave approved so I would now like to announce the dates for the
2020 Scottish run.
The run will be the usual 2 days ( sat,sun) and will be held on the 19th - 20th September 2020.
Details of where we are going etc will be announced early next year as have a couple of things in mind and need to investigate further .
Numbers will be limited to 10 cars ( this is a large enough number for the places we tend to go on this event )
So if you have an interest in attending get in touch and I will get you on the list .

Update Feb 20.
Hotel update .
After going through a couple of things have plumped with for this year .
Hotel is Falls of Lora , Connell near Oban
Cost is ranging from £270 for the double rooms ( 3 nights fri,sat,sun )
Cost is £234 for the single room ( 3 nights fri,sat,sun )
@andyglym , @Scooblitz. Andy and Stevie I have spoken to you both about this .
@ktnez99 can you pm me confirm whether you plan to attend.
When I spoke to the hotel before they closed for winter ( open again this week) never said anything about deposits.
We are going to run day 1 this weekend ( weather permitting )
So planning to book hotel at same time
So if anyone cant make it if possible can you let me know this week.
Day 1 I have in mind has ferry crossing
If I go with this route there will be 3 crossings
1 ×45 min ( required prebook)
1× 20 min ( turn up and go )
1× 12 min. ( turn up and go )
Total cost ( for car plus 2 ( single cheaper ) £42.
The 1st ferry will have to be booked and paid for well in advance will let everyone know about that.
Will get a pm thread set up for attendees with more hotel information.

Routes will be posted soon .
Once I have finalised day 1 will get more details posted.

Here is a quick overview of the weekend day 1 is still to be finalised but should be as below .

Day 1.

Day 1 .
Short 6 mile drive to Oban to catch ferry to Craignure on Mull ( approx 45 min crossing) ( this ferry will have to be pre booked well in advance will get a pm thread on the go soon for that ) then it's a run round part of Mull to Tobermory for lunch.
After lunch run down the coast road to Fishnish to catch ferry across Lochaline back on the mainland ( approx 20 min crossing no pre booking) then a run north to Ardgour to catch ferry across to Coran ( 10 min crossing no pre booking ) then from there a run back to the hotel.


Day 2.

Day 2 head north over the Ballachulish bridge then take a right and onward to Kinlochleven from there its onward through Glencoe village and Glencoe pass down over Rannoch moor to Tyndrum lunch there.
Then its along the A75 to just past Dalmally then we turn down towards Inveraray from there its onward to Lochgilphead and from there north back to the hotel.

Day 1 runs at around 135 miles
Day 2 runs at around 166 miles

Just for a bit of info .
Think I have a hotel and 2 days runs together .
Looking to do a recce of this hopefully at the end of the 1st week in December so all being well details of where we are going and staying will be ready to post up soon .
