Had a brief chat with the guy in the photo who built it from scratch, complete with supercharged Rolls Royce 3.7ltr engine. He said he just spent the weekend at Beaulieu and was heading home.
There's something not quite right though and I'm am going to do a bit of research into it.
He started it up and it sounded like an aeroplane, an awesome sound.

The "real" Dreadnought Bentley was a 4.5ltr supercharged Rolls Royce engine monster but which ever way you look at it, this is a hell of shed special

TL1663 was a 1931 Rolls Royce so that bit checks out

Cause you have got that hat on all the time, overheats the the brain, you should try my ventilated helmet.....:)
I don't wear my hat on my journey to work, but have to wear a safety helmet most of the time when I'm working, but then again, being a baldie my brain rarely gets overheated, or over used =))

Bit like mine then old chap, I am keeping mine pickled for the use of medical science.....:D
You'd have loved it in our village over bank holiday weekend, our village hosted the "World Hog's Pudding Championship" together with a Gin and Cider festival. Live music all day. It was £5 to get in, but you got a pint of cider, a pasty and an invite to judge the hog's pudding.

I warmed up with a couple of pints of Tribute then started on the cider. I was well into double figures before the day was over. I was downing Fanny Brambles like there's no tomorrow. It's only rated at 4% but it slipped down lovely.

At the end of the day they held a hog's pudding auction and I bought £20 worth, that would normally retail at £40 at least.

All money from the auction went to Mount Edgecombe Hospice so a very worthy cause

The RR 20/25 was a chassis only. The bodywork would normally look something like this.

I guess a few might have had racing bodies fitted originally. But presumably this was built more like above photo. And the 'Dreadnought' is a fantasy build?

Yes, you are most likely correct. The car was rebuilt I think as a homage to Rolls Royce / Bentley racing. The body on the rebuilt car is based on the classic fishtail design of the 1930's hence the "Dreadnought" monica on the bonnet.
Incidentally it has a genuine Bentley radiator and grill complete with original Bentley badge
