Sat Nav Hard Wiring

[Nifty Fifty]

I have an old Tom Tom Sat Nav that is still in good working order and would be ideal for the Z, as I have the centre console out now would be a good time to hard wire it in.

Can some one please advise on the best way and what to connect too?
The existing cigarette lighter OR the radio? Likewise will I need to install an inline fuse? And if so what size fuse?

I'd think the radio as it should already have an inline fuse whereas the ciggie lighter doesn't usually. JIM

if you are going to hard wire just take the plug of 2 wires live and earth were ever you put it you should put a inline fuse were you can get to the fuse,
